Romeo & Juliet
June 12 - June 22
At The Lynhaven House of Virginia Beach
Tickets On Sale Soon!
In the streets of Verona, the Montagues and Capulets are at odds, but they’re trying to keep it under wraps. But, lowkey, the vibes are tense AF. So, when Romeo, a Montague, and Juliet, a Capulet, link up, it’s like the whole world comes to a standstill cause they are in love or whatever.
But since their families hate each other, it’s only a matter of time before things get wild and turn into a total tragedy.
This iconic story is the ultimate cautionary tale about how love can go wrong when you’re from two rival families. Romeo and Juliet is comedy, satire, and drama all mixed into one!
About The Lynhaven House
Step into nearly 300 years of history at The Lynnhaven House, one of Virginia’s most well-preserved examples of colonial architecture. Built by ship’s carpenter Francis Thelaball, this historic home showcases exquisite craftsmanship, from brick jack arches to a delicate closed-spindle staircase. The property, lovingly preserved through generations, offers a glimpse into the daily lives of early Tidewater families, including the Thelaballs and those they enslaved. With its rich history and timeless charm, the Lynnhaven House provides a breathtaking backdrop for an outdoor immersive production of Romeo & Juliet, where love and fate unfold beneath the stars. Though currently closed for restoration, special programs continue at the Lynnhaven Colonial Education Center, keeping the spirit of the past alive.
